I am an architectural and interior designer and artist. I first trained as a metal craftsperson under master artist Paolo Croatto in the atelier of David Gulassa in Seattle. While working in that immersive environment of craft and design, I realized that I needed to conceive entire spaces, not just objects in those spaces. After five years of running my own architectural metals studio in Seattle, I moved to Los Angeles to attended the Southern California Institute of Architecture. I've led teams in both architecture and interior design firms in Los Angeles. My training in ARCHITECTURE informs the scale and proportions of the interiors I design, and my experience working more closely in INTERIORS informs the creative texture and intimacy of my work. Having a well developed background as a CRAFTSPERSON informs the material quality, coordination and execution of all of my projects.
These varied experiences make me a holistic designer and problem solver. I work with clients from start to finish, making sure that the basis of each space is considered. My practice is design focused. I work to maximize the potential of a house or property from a spacial perspective in tandem with the interiors thinking and and layering that creates a HOME. This approach to my practice results in spaces that are as unique and individual as my clients are.
